Indeed nothing in her song is actually ironic - she should have called it 'Incredibly irritating' instead ;-)
Ah, alanis. I first heard that album in a restaurant in Portrush. The reason I remember it vividly is because anytime she swore an employee would rush over to the stereo and turn it down at the critical moment. Is was hilarious.
